what affect if any will 35 inch bfg mud terrains on steel wheels have, dyno my 408 stroker motor in my sand rail and made 457 hp and 456 tq. Numbers seem low compared to some of the other dyno # on 408. motor has fast 90/90 set up 242/248 cam, 11/1 comp and stage 3 ffhp heads with open headers.

bigger tires have more mass, so it takes more to spin them, so you will be loosing quite a bit of power as compared to regular tires. those numbers seem about right with a huge tire. got any pics of that bad boy.

what do you think the loss on the dyno would be, car runs great, its a full on 5 seat sand rail with 24 inches of wheel travel at all four corners. car weighs in at 2600 lbs and will stand straight up in the air with some motivation from my right foot. we have a zex direct port nitrous set up on it but wanted to get the motor broke in before we started fooling around with the nitrous.
