Default Finally retuned the GTO... no graphs

Sorry I don't have a graph. But I will after I sort out my problems next week.
Mods: ATI D1 blower, 224/228 114lsa cam, LTs, Corsa Exh, stock bottom end, stock heads with upgraded valvetrain only.

Well... I got to RevXtreme bright and early so I could get on a lift, change the Procharger oil and look over a few things! All went well. Jeremy Formato my tuner got there about an hour after I did, which was planned so I could take care of my stuff. We pulled the car onto the dyno and knew from the start numbers would be down. We put a ton of fuel in to be sure and be safe. The initial pull was 544/446 at the wheels. No problem it was expected... Jeremy works his magic for a little bit and we pull again with about a 10minute cool down. BAM 575/490 at the wheels with gains of about 40-45 through the midrange, my goal with the pulley swap was never for peak power, but for more midrange and we definately achieved it. Oh yeah, did I mention we peaked at 575 @ 6500RPMs because we got knock! So I already called and ordered my methanol kit... installing it Tuesday and back to teh dyno on Wed! We pulled some timing and backed it down to like 560/485. I think once we get the methanol on it and make it a bit safer we will see gains around 20/25 on both ends! The car definately feels better now with the new tune. Much smoother and the power is definately there!

I don't have the dyno sheet/printout. I will get you updated sheets on Wed next week... Wish me luck... I just want it to be a little safer for now, I could really care less about the power at this point! I have more than enough and the bottom end is holding up great!

Look for an update next week when I have my knock problem sorted out!

Well actually I am in St. Pete! I am down here for the Holidays, but either way Jeremy is still the only person I will probably let tune my car since he has been tuning it since day 1!

nice numbers Mick. it shows in the track mph as well. meth kit will help out and formato can put more timing into that motor. its gonna be happy. if you wanted to push it, i bet nearly 600 rwhp could be accomplished.

Very nice. Interesting to see how long your stock bottom end holds!

I am running a 3.85" blower pulley with the standard crank pulley.

With the Methanol I just want to clean up the graph and hopefully take car of the knock I am getting! If I can add more timing and make more power...Great, if not its not big deal so long as the knock is gone!

I am not too concerned about the stock bottom end since I will have a 408 in the works within a week or so!
