Default CRAZY dyno numbers

Just had my TR224/224 114 cam dynoed. We did 2 pulls on a Mustang dyno and both sets of numbers are corrected. First pull was 399 HP & 397 TQ, 2nd set was 411 & 406. I am guessing that these numbers aren't correct, me and the tuner just looked at each other and laughed. Mods in sig

i have the thunder 224/224-112 and dynoed a few days ago on a dynojet and have similar results. full boltons with a ls6 intake, but the catch is i have a ford 9 inch with 4.11's and put down 384.82 rwhp and 383.79 rwtq. on a 120 shot power went to 502.23 rwhp and 521.25 rwtq.

Yeah that's why I am having a tough time believing them. On the same dyno with just lid, 3 inch Y, FRA & cutout I put down 332 HP and 340 TQ....maybe my car just loves that dyno??

Insane numbers. My thought is the dyno is not setup right. I'm putting down 404/385 on a mustang dyno w/heads. If you dont load it correctly you can get any numbers you want.

You should take your car to a Dynojet to get accurate numbers. There's something wrong with that Dyno. It's impossible to gain 79 rwhp from a cam and headers!

Those would be impressive #'s on a dyno jet! They might wanna check their dyno or you could go redyno at a dyno jet and see what kind of #'s you're really putting down...

That's total BS a good tuner with a decent sized cam and LT's can pull out that much... My cam and MAC mids and my tuner (a good friend of mine) pulled out 68rwhp on a baby cam... it's smaller than the TR224

You're right, after I thought about it I realized my calculation was off.

Remember also it was cam, headers along with a LS6 manifold and ported TB and also the tune which was pretty much right on 13.13-13.0. I figure the manifold and ported TB were worth and at least extra 12-18 at the wheels also.

I dont care who tuned it. Cam only now way in hell those numbers are accurate for a tr224 on a properly setup mustang dyno. No way. I guarantee it.
