Smile Dyno results for my Z28

2001 Z28 w/ 77,453 mi, K&N FIPK, GMS 85mm MAF(De-screened), FAST 90mm throttle body, FAST 90mm intake manifold, MSD 8.5mm wires, Pace Setter long tube headers, Pace Setter Y pipe (no cat's), SLP Loud Mouth, QA1 F Series (300lbs springs front, stock springs rear w/no spring cups 5/8"rad hose on top), 180 thermostat, Custom tune, stock heads, stock cam. The numbers: 456 HP and 496 Ft/Lbs TQ. Those numbers are at the rear wheels. One sugestion though. Stay away from the FAST TB and get the Nick Williams instead. The FAST sticks and I had to get a throttle return spring to get it to close all the way or let my engine rev out of control. With it I can only get 70% throttle opening. Without it and 100% opening add 11 HP to the above number.

I'll post the dyno sheets in the next couple of days. I'm going off what my dyno guy told me. I havent seen the sheets yet but I dont see why he would lie to me but if I am wrong I will be the first to pull the flag on my self. I'll try to post a video as well.

Is it a 346 ?Maybe he is talking about flywheel. But even at a calculated 15-20% loss its not quite adding up,and ur a m6.

These dyno numbers are a joke! It is impossible to make that much power with stock heads and cam period! Unless you forgot to mention the 100 shot your spraying?

A built big-cube LSx motor would be doing well to see that torque output at the wheels.

its an m/6 right??? even a pull from first gear wouldn't allow those numbers with those mods, no matter what dyno it is!!! Sorry to tell ya man but who ever is working on your car doesn' t know how to work things properly, or you misunderstood something, or neither party really knows to much about this car. Of course you didn't mention what type of fuel was being ran and what the A/F ratio was (not that it matters). Is this motor still intact???? What is the N2o set-up???? What type of dyno was this???? Does a K&N FIPK really hook up to 85mm MAF ( I always thought they only came 78mm, but I could be wrong)????

Yes its an M6. There is no N2o and the more comments that I get the more I am starting to seccond guess what I heard or what he said. My car is still at the shop(did'nt make it there before he closed) and I won't get it till mon. I will post the numbers as I read them off the sheet as soon as I get them and post the sheets as soon as I get them on to my computer. Again i'm not trying to BS anyone. Those are the numbers that I was told. If i'm wrong I will post it and appoligize to all for the mistake. till then i'm loged off. As far as the FIPK... yes it dose fit an 85mm GMS MAF. It's tight and takes a little effort but it will fit.

I'm sorry buddy, but with stock heads and cam there is no way you are making those numbers. 350 rwhp would be believable. This is a bolt-on car with no spray right?

damn guys lighten up on him. first off you have some excellent mods on your car and it is a great start to getting to 456hp. but i think you might be mistaken on your dyno numbers (as so harshly stated above). example. my friend with about the same setup with a cam only pulls 396hp at the wheels. so something about your dyno is wrong.

but, regardless of the dyno numbers, with those mods the car should be fun to drive.

Yeah, someone over there is pulling your leg. No shot in hell the car is making those kinda #'s with those mods, something was setup wrong on that dyno.
