Damn, I hope that my results are a little better than that. I have questions about my heads but I guess I will have to wait and see. Good luck getting that problem solved.

I would think with that cam it would lay down some more but anytime you have more rwhp then the amount of cubic inches N/A is pretty damn good IMO.

Thats bad for a 408 in anyones book. Mine will be done this week at G-Force. I will let you know how my numbers go! Good luck with your set-up! But get the A/F check, bigtime!

If you spend that kind of money on a motor, why go cheap on the tune?

I love it when people think every 408 will dyno 500+ rwhp. Hmmm, unlocked A4 on a mustang. What were you expecting?

Exactly! You can not compare a M6 car on a dynojet to a big stalled automatic car on a mustang dyno. Oranges to apples x2.

dude something is seriously wrong even with the bad choices as far as the heads and throttle body are concerned you should be getting a whoel lot more outta this setup. where are you located? If you send me a pm I'll try and find a good tuner for you and see if he cant fix your issues.

What have you done to your fuel system? New fuel pump? Bigger injectors?

dynojet vs mustand dyno big difference.. ms vs auto a4 even more when it comes to dyno #'s.. dyno #'s isnt all that matters ( even thought many people think thats all) what matters the most is how it performs in the track.. good luck buddie i hope that you get your problems resolved.. by the way you should really upgrade the heads to the 225's.. by the way why did you even go with the 205's if you have such a big ci motor?

i didn't wat to start a fight over m6 vs auto mustang dyno vs dynojet. i was just saying that his numbers were low. numbers are not everything like said above. I hope it runs like a bat out of hell. I just know that there is still some more power still in there.

Just got back from the track here are my times, made three passes on 26" et streets
11.12et-1.65sixty-123.45mph
11.04et-1.55sixty-123.56mph
11.16et-1.61sixty-122.74mph
Remember guys car still sports factory 3.23's,full weight car.The transmission shifting into second was fine, but second to third kept hitting limiter, had to let off let it shift then get on it again on all three runs.I was pretty happy I guess, but know that motor has more. The cylinder head choice was that I already had them, car has 42lbs injectors, racetronix pump kit.In from Laredo, TX 150 miles south of San Antonio,Tx

Looks like good track times with it hitting the rev in third to me in street trim with that combo. Would have been in the 10's if she would have shifted for ya...might have to get the vaccum modulator for that A4, should help it shift quicker. I had the same issues on the bottle.

I wish I had anykind of decent dyno tuner that close to me....

The numbers are not that far off with the mods. They could be better with better heads, but my best guess on a dynoject would be high 400's which is pretty good for a automatic 408ci.

I think 430 with an unlocked converter on a Mustang dyno ae pretty good especially for the heads you are running. You can't compare a 6 speed to an unlocked A4. A 450 hp 6 speed wouldn't even hit 400 with an A4 on a Mustang dyno. I would guess you are in the 480-490 rwhp range which isn't bad for a a set of out of the box 205 heads.

Good track times. You will definitely be in the 10's once you get the tranny fix. Good to see you happy with you set up now and you know it will only get better once you change you heads. Good job.

Well it was a good day and outcome yesterday at the track, seems to me I guess the motor is doing probably ok,but still confused on the #'s.Seems kinda funny to me but,I still need to install underdrive pulley, low temp thermostat, port the 90 fast intake. If the tranny would have shifted I know a 10.90 was there, but oh well,Ill try next weekend.Im going to dyno the car today on a dynojet, see what it does. Now I want more,if I sell the 205's,what would be the ideal choice of heads and still be daily driver friendly, to make it breathe better, was thinking of ET heads.

Fuel injection specialties in San Antonio did a outstanding job on my little lt1. Who cares about the numbers anyways...if you got good driveability and a high 10 sec street car with the high gears. Good luck.
