I put 522hp to the wheels without any tuning, but didn't get a torque reading. I am running the tune from my old setup - stock cubes with a 224 baby cam, lol. All I did was update the tune with a new injector program to feed the engine. Here are my mods:
SDPC 408 iron block (Callies internals)
TEA stg III 6.0L heads
custom grind 248/254 615/613 113LSA cam
ASP pulley
Kooks 1-7/8 headers
cutout
airlid
FAST 78mm intake manifold
drivetrain:
T-56
10-bolt with 3.73 gear
17" Z06 replicas
I need a ported FAST 90 setup, and a tune. After playing with timing and adjusting the A/F a bit, along with a FAST 90, this thing should hit the 550RWHP mark without any problems - and the best part is that I am using GM heads; not AFR's or ETP's! 6.0L heads rule - especially when TEA has done them.
I'll keep you guys updated on my quest to 550RWHP.
EDIT: My CR is only 11.2:1 also! I could have easily gone to 11.8 with no problems and made even more power

LOVEM puts me right at 6389 in 4th at 132 with a 27 in slick. even witha 26 its only at like 6635 at 132 in 4th, glad i did it, nitrous love a little lower gear and i dont like 410s only thing i would do diff is a spool instead of the detroit locker.
and gun drilled my 35 plines but oh well. next time lol.

Here is some more info on my setup:

It has the flow numbers in there. The SDPC site does not have it. Call up Kris Jones and tell him I sent ya'. He'll give you the best price around, and a quality build, with a warranty - we all know of at least one place that tries to scam out of a warranty.

Problem is, now you have a 408 and probably 80 more lb. ft. of torque. It's very likely that your Vig is stalling well over 5000 rpm. Basically, your engine torque is blowing right through your converter and is not coupling up properly. Ask Pro Stock John, he'll tell you the same thing.
I've preach proper converter selection for years. People will spend tens of thousands of dollars getting the ideal heads and the ideal cam for their combination, only to **** it away with a converter that loses all that extra power to heat.
What would I recommend? I'd recommend you call Yank, TCI and ATI. Coan and Dynamic converters are also good ones. You will get more power back to the tires with a converter matched to your combination than any cam will give you. You'll have no way of ever knowing what the new (or old) cam will do without being able to efficiently transfer that power to the tires. If G-Force and LME thought your current cam would make big power, they're probably right. You'll be chasing your tail without addressing the converter issue first.

WE have disscused the converter issue. The Converter is more like a 4400-4800 stall speed with the weight of his car 3800lbs and size of the motor. The new cam should take advantage of where the ET heads flow.
