Default Out dynoed by a bone stock C6 Zo6

Our car club had a dyno day yesterday and I dynoed right after a friends bone stock C6 ZO6 and my little 383 Zo could not beat it, LOL

My best run was 474.9, his I belive, was 476.1

This was my first experience on a dynapack dyno.
Man, you can really hear the load it puts on the car!

The numbers you posted for the Z06 would indicated that they are vastly underrated. The 505bhp listed by GM is a joke. This car is obvioulsy putting out 574bhp or more.

Awesome numbers man! Don't feel bad though, that thing has a 427 in it. I saw a modded C6 Z06 from LG Motorsports with Long Tubes, High-Flow Cats, Air Filter, and their Stage 3 Cam put down 554 rwhp and 501 lb-ft torque on a dyno, not sure what kind though. Either way, 554 rwhp in a 3150 lb car is going to be a monster for sure. Anyways, all take it easy.

how about an 02 Z06 with an A&A vortech/fmic kit with 525rwhp....

which car would be faster..... C6Z06/blown C5Z06?

**** man, that would be a damn good one for sure! I don't even want to speculate on which one would be faster because it would be too close to call. I would love to drive either one of them! So, do you have this '02 Z06 with the blower? If so, tell me some times and some of the races you've had. Anyways, take it easy man.

This thread was more about a bone stock car, out dynoing, a highly modified car on the same day/dyno.

Those numbers are definitely the highest I've seen for a stock C6 Z. Have the two of you played around on the street yet?

The "intake silencer" filter thingy that GM puts in the Z06 can be removed out of the inake tract and see about a 20 rwhp increase. If I can find the forum talking about the immediate increase i'll post it up.

this is an awesome comparison to have a new z06 dynoed on the same dyno/day/conditions as another car, its all relative, I would disregard the numbers, every dyno type is going to be different. too bad you couldnt get a graph overlay?

No, 479 is about 540 at the flywheel.
