Default Graph up..

Well, I finally got a baseline of what im putting down before I put in the cam. I made 339rwhp and 348rwtq with the mods in the sig and without a tune. Is this ok or should it have been a bit higher. The guy who dynoed it only did two pulls and said that if the car was a little bit more warmed up it would have gotten a little higher numbers. What do you all think?

P.S. My passenger side header is dinged up pretty bad and I have pretty small exhaust tubes 2 1/2. Would these play a factor as well?

P.S.S. How does the A/F look?

Alex

Thoes are some pretty stout numbers for exhaust and a lid. Thing should be beastly when you get a new bump stick in there.

very nice for an untuned car. My friend dynoed with mac mids, loudmouth exaust, fipk, tune and hit 333rwhp and 348rwtq. I myself dynoed 325rwhp and 342rwtq, untuned with the mods in sig

Those #'s seem right on track, your AF looks rich, could be leaned a bit. Check out my sig for #'s stock and after small mods. Not sure what I wanna do next.

not bad. We have similar mods and I put down almost the same power: 342rwhp/355rwtq. dyno sheet in sig. By the way, I am sure you already know your flowmaster isn't the most flowing catback right? maybe a cutout would help?

Thats what I want to do next is either get rid of the crapmaster or get a cutout. Dont know which will net higher results.

stout numbers.I know ur a 6sp but i only have 2 A4 numbers pre-cam to share. My old 99Z A4 made around 330-335rwhp locked w/ full bolt-ons including Slp Lid w/ K&N, mac 1.75in mids & 3in xpipe untuned. My 98 TA did 324rwhp if i remember w/ full bolt-ons including LS6 intake and 1.75in pace LTs, ported TB, ud pulley etc etc w/o tune. Ive got the before and after cam graphs but i dont have a way of getting them posted. Both cars had free mods. Anyway, Id say ur right on the money and with a good cam u'll be 400rwhp+ w/ a good tune. Good luck w/ it!!!

I was assuming you hadnt gotten a cam yet and was just guessing you'd get a F13, MS3, G5X2 or something like that. Didnt see that you had gotten the hotcam already but 380rw is definately doable and the LS1 hotcam is a great all around cam!!!!!

Well, I finally got it tuned and I put down 375rwhp and 362rwhp. Not too bad, I was expecting a little less but I am happy with the numbers. It feels much better now, doest hesitate and die anymore. The first pull without a tune it put down 365/355, it was running pretty rich.... Im definately installing a cutout, maybe thatll put me at 380....

Those are some nice numbers. My car seems to be lacking in the torque department compared to some of the cars with full exhaust upgrades. Looking at your graph it's obvious I need long tube headers.
