im not dumb enough to try it and verify my theory but i think if you are a tooth advanced that tight p/v clearance when installed properly will be well, lil bit more than tight, something along the line of self clearancing upon startup

Yea, but that doesnt always mean boom bitch Some people have had pistons kiss a few valves and still be just fine. Just like you said, self clearancing
