Default TSP 233/239 and Futral guys

ok basically what it says i'm wanting to see what kind of curve the tsp 233/239 cam makes and how " peaky " it is compared to some of the similar futral cams out..please no bigger than this camshaft though. ( heard they are really good all over the rpms? ) my mods are listed and i do plan on the TSP cam, i'd just like to see some dyno graphs first to put me at ease, thanks for your help guys! and another thing...do you guys think Patriot stage II heads will work alright with this camshaft? or should i bump up OR try to find some stock ls6 heads if they will flow fine looking to make 400 to the rear with my H/C setup this summer .

THis is with very mild port work on my heads but 2.02 int valves with stock exh valves. my heads are 241 casting milled .015 with stock gm gaskets . compression should be around 10.4-10.5/1.

f13 with Edelbrock long tubes and ory pipe , ls6 int and ported t/b

This is not my last dyno either, it went up to 430 with a new 85 mm mass air flow sensor

i'm guessing that cam is designed for high RPM use as i see you have your rev. limiter set higher and it doesn't make much up until 5-5.5k rpm. what kind of driveability issues do you have ?

I make 420 rwhp stock 806 casting heads milled .010" and although I am just garage tuned off my stock o2's it doesn't do bad. It still has a lot left and I still have a bunch more tuning to do (I suck). With the new clutch installed in my car I see 425+ not being a problem cam only with this car when I decide to hit the dyno again. I am not running an a/c belt though on this car so subtract about 6 rwph on a full belt car.

What do you mean that it does not make much untill 5500? my tq is kick *** from start to finish.

I shift at 6700 rpm's , the rev limiter is set at 7000 just to get it out of the way.

Oh yeah, this cam is just as street freindly as my old c1 hammer cam 222/222-.566/.566 112 lsa+4 deg advance. but has more power every where in the rpm range.

i was just talkin about the HP, it does have good TQ numbers throughout though. nice guys. any 233/239 guys or 231/237'ers ??

Yes those are SAE. The cam is on a 112lsa with +4 deg advance.

You know my opinion on this one. No dyno numbers, but the track times says she makes power.

cool thanks. those are stout numbers, especially the torque. i thought i had my heart set on the ms3 but i might want the f13.

If you look at the HP you will see it makes the same HP as a stock car at only 4k rpms. LOL

I think the f13 lays down the track times as well as any of the bigger cams. Expecially on a heavy car.

That would probably be a good comparison for him. He rode in my car when we he was there having his tuned, but its not really a good comparison as I have heads and the road was cold.

i'll have to see if i can find my graph. dynoed 363 with only headers, lid, and ory through a cut-out. haven't went back to see what it would do with full bolt ons though. reminded that this is an auto so the numbers you want should not be out of reach with heads.

this is stock 99' ls1 heads, intake, tb, etc.
cam, LT's and duals only.........


I am having a 90/90 and stage 2 heads done right now.
