You can make more TQ with by installing a cam with a tighter LSA and an an earlier intake closing point and probably not hurt the peak #'s in a cam of that size or similar. What you will notice is that after peak the power will drop off a little faster but with a hyd. grind and a 7K ceiling or so that is still not a big deal. Idle quality will of course suffer as will part throttle low speed drivability to a point as well.

Its never a free lunch with a camswap....always a give and take.

Just go have fun with your 483 ponies for awhile....If your really wanting some TQ put a small wet kit on that baby and look out. With the AFR heads a 100 shot is usually good for more, and you will see an increase of over 200 RWTQ with that small a whack

Thanks for chiming in Tony, I was thinking of spraying a small shot just untill I get the $$ for the 383. Thanks for all your help man. It payed off.
