I'm not here bashing... My dad has a vette we'll be camming sooner or later so, I think it's interesting and thank you for posting your results. We'll be taking another approach however in hopes to fatten up TQ between 3000-5000. The way we see it, if you can make the same amount of torque at 3000-RPM as another cammed up car that makes this amount of torque at 4000-RPM, we've created a much more street-able car and probably a 'quicker' one at that.
We're looking at 350-TQ @ 3000-RPM and at least 400-TQ by 4500-RPM... More preferably 4000-RPM. Anyways, I'm done bull shitting.

Do you even know what you are talking about?
Here is what I said:

Driving like an old woman would be between 3000-5000 RPM??? Not likely.
I didn't say optimize power between IDLE and 2000.
I didn't take it that way. I was just showing that I didnt loose any low end compared to stock. Im sure how you race or drive but this cam is great for drving on the street for me. I havent had a chance to try it on the track and launch because of my slave cyclinder and clutch. On the street the car comes alive at 3,000rpm and really screams from 4,000rpm on up. 1st and 2nd gear go by like nothing. On everything I have raced I have always launched anywhere from 3,000-6,000rpm depending on traction. This setup being no differnt. You will always lose one to gain one, so if your looking for more low end then you will start loosing tq and hp on the big end. You just have to try to find a happy medium for setup.
Good luck
