I used both and i prefer the Dynojet with Eddie Current loader over the Mustang Dyno. The Dynojet interface is million years ahead of the mustang dyno. The Dynojet interface is more user friendly and with the eddie current you also can load the car too.

Most people like the dynojet because they give free hp #'s,then they can claim they have more power. i have been on two dynojets one said i had 408hp and they other said 405hp on an old set up. i went to a mustang dyno and it said 378hp. big difference from the jets. now...new set up..463hp 413.8tq same mustang dyno that gave me 378 on my old set up.

I would really be interested in your definition of "true" HP numbers.

.. as long as you do not hop from one to another... It is just a tuning tool. You use it to isolate the results from changes. If possible always try to use the exact same dyno for measuring results from modifications...

Another question that I would be interested in the answer, I think we all know that the Dynojets provide higher numbers then the other brands, does adding the eddie current load to one provide higher numbers yet? It should.
They just came out with the eddie current option.
You guys should read this article... It will answer alot of your questions http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/0306tur_dynodash/

SMOKINHOT98-thanks,the car can hold it's own,but we have alot of bada*s cars on this site. the stang dyno does give a closer to true #'s. i only use the dyno for tuning and always use the same stang dyno. i HOPE on my next visit to the track the car will go 9.8 or 9.9's in the 1/4mi,best so far is a 10.2.

The SAE, STD, Din, or whatever correction used is only correcting, OR partially trying to correct for different weather conditions, etc. It HAS NOTHING to do with the dyno operation or testing varibles like load, accel rate, different measuring methods, and so on..
