dyno

So this might be a dumb question, but I was just wondering if it is possible for a dyno to not be accurate?

Yes it can. if its off calibration it will throw the numbers way off.

Also some dyno's dyno up to 20rwhp different from one another.

I know here in DFW there are like 3 different dyno's and 2 will essentially give the same readings but the thrid will give a loss of 10 rwhp. It all depends on lots of variables really

Mustang Dynomometer's read relatively low. Dynojet's typically read high.

Well the track doesn't read dead on if you want to compare your car to others that aren't there the same day. People across the country get widely varying results due to temperature, altitude, and humidity. I believe that track times say more than dyno number too, but there are lots of variables at the track too. Driver skill has no effect on a dyno, but it is crucial for the track.
