Congrats

Nice numbers. I would be tempted to coax alittle more out of the tuning to get the 500 mark for bragging rights if nothing else. Good numbers. I'll bet it pulls hard.

What is your compression? My guess that you have a lot of power left on the table.

I can see a 530+ rwhp can be squeezed easily.

Congrats!

Great numbers.

My guess is his compression is around 12:1.

The comp. is high enough it will only take 24 deg. timing we tried 25 and it started to knock. So on 94 octane i think that is about it. I'll go back in a little bit after i put somemore miles on it and try for 500
As for the heads i'll have to check i have the #s @ home

those are some pretty good numbers i have the shaved 61cc version of those heads that are also going to go on my 408,I was curious on how they would perform on these 408s do to the fact that they are intended more for stock cubic inch motors.PUT ON A PULLEY AND YOU SHOULD SEE THE 500 PLUS MARK EASILY.DID THEY FLOW ALL THE WAY WITH THAT HIGH LIFT CAM,THATS WHAT I WAS REALLY WORRIED ABOUT MY CAM IS A FMS 246/250 DUR.629-633 LIFT AT A 112 +3 ADV.SO IF YOURS FLOWED ALL THE WAY THROUGH THEN I SHOULD BE FINE.

These heads flow pretty good i don't think u will have a problem w/ that cam. just make sure to check piston to valve clearance. That is why i built this 408 because i had the same heads as you (61cc) and changed the cam in my ls1 and did not check ptv and i dropped the #1 intake valve and the rest is scrap aluminum.
