Any more info on dat triple disc lock-up converter and what it may have over a yank ss3600 for example?

Yeah those numbers are locked up.

I ran the car last night at the track and blew the driveshaft in half on the first launch.lol. A fellow LS1tech member showed up with his stocker so we swapped in a 1350 u-joint at the track, installed the DS and made a few passes. We ran some 10.6s with 1.48 60fts at 126.6 mph. I didn't get to do a good test on the lock up switch. We ran out of time.

The triple disc lock up clutches are extreme components in this converter and will not slip under a load. The tranny will slip first. I don't have any stats to compare the 2 outside of the lock-up features. You can't compare the lock-up clutches between the two. The efficiency should be very close though.

1.48 60fts at +2200 DA in a 3640# car is respectable IMO. I actually need a little more stall on the launch and I'll see high 1.3s if I can get her to stick.

I've got a 3.5" Dynotech MMC drive shaft being built as we speak. I should have known the stroker was on it's last leg.

Circle D wants to raise the stall a little more to see if the tires and suspension can handle it. 1.48 60 fts was great in the Texas heat was great, but a 1.39 would be sweet especially since we are a bit on the heavy side. Iguess we'll find out huh?

See ya at the track!

Greg's heads have a way of doing that. You gotta wait a little for them, but they're worth every dollar.

I meant the stocker (drive shaft) was living on borrowed time.lol.

We are going to try to drop some weight without sacrificing too much comfort. There's a little room to play with there. See ya!
