i love my comp cam! updated w/dyno sheet
ok guys, here's the rundown. cam only 2002 ss m6, pacesetter headers, TSP ORY, slp CME, whisper lid, holley filter, SD tune W/ MAF in place, all accessories driven, no dyno tricks whatsoever, no cutout, no underdrive pulley and stock stat all through a 12 bolt w/33 spline axles & heavy *** steel DS. tuned by dyno dan in lincoln, NE.
it only took two (2) pulls to acheive 413hp@6400ish 390.6tq @around 5000. these numbers are SAE.
most importantly however, dan was able to tune out my surging/bucking, idle hunt, hot start PITA, shitty mileage etc and this car drives so close to stock it's hard to tell it's got a decent cam.
comp # 54-446-11
and i thought my dcr was going to be too low because i installed this cam straight up..., guess not. any ideas how much advance these cams have ground in?

Correct?
That is a good sized cam that looks to have made some impressive power + Tq. I want to see your graph!

using the down and dirty DCR calc posted on this board, no matter what i do i arrive at 7.8:1 dcr, assuming this cam has 4* advance ground in, does anyone know for sure on the ICL?
i'm beginning to wonder if DCR isn't just a little bit overhyped.... here i though it was the end of the world since i didn't have 8.5:1 dcr, but i don't necessarily think so now...
