How many of you guys/gals are over 600rwhp on the stock shortblock?

lol, I make 640 corrected....but only like 550 here in Albuquerque. I'm just wondering if I'd be ok going to sea level?

Got 650 with a 150 shot for awhile. Never had any issues. Just tune it right and run a good fuel system! Good Luck!

I would think you would be ok, probably wouldn't hold up forever.

We seem to be able to get away with a lot here in Albuquerque.

I have been making 600+ rwhp for about 7months now with just over 35passes on it. Procharger setup making 10.5psi at 7k RPMs... stock bottom end!

We have a customers procharged car thats seen 630 on a mustang dyno stock head/bottom end

I don't doubt it at all... We had mine up in that range and I asked the tuner to fatten it up and back the timing down a little bit for self seurity...LOL

I tried but the stock return style fuel system wouldnt let me!

I haven't seen a dyno, but I should be 600+whp on my trex/200whp shot. Trapping 138, so it's making some power.
