the h/c setup should feel faster than the procharger, the power comes in earlier. I don't think anyone is knocking your setup. The numbers do seem low, but if you are happy, and its performing well, then thats bad ***. Spraying it should make some great power, good luck.

The thing that everyone fails to realize is that not everyone is going to make X amount of hp just because they used X cam and X heads. Also, not every dyno is the same, nor is any motor the same. Just because some of you made X amount of hp more than him with whatever setup doesn't mean he has a shitty setup. Hell, he may have more area under the curve, which is what truely matters. I've said it before as have many many others, Peak hp isn't always the best/best for everyone.

Nice #'s.

Sometimes I wish I would've bought that car instead of my pick up /camper!

I remember when I test drove it with the procharger, thinking man, my H/C car feels way faster. Of course I was never in the formy's power band while test driving it to see what it really felt like.

Start saving for a 90/90, it was worth 20+ hp on T's car.

BTW, what happened to your other plate?

3 years ago if you made 400RWHP you were the ****, this guy makes 415 with a 12 bolt and people are all over him cause they have seen higher numbers from that combo. Truth is most people on here don't even make the numbers they claim. And isn't it funny that only the shop cars make the most HP.

Take this beast to the track and shut everyone up. Congrats for breaking 400 RWHP, 3-4 years ago I spent thousands of dollars trying and i came up with 396 RWHP

once again thanks for all your comments fella's.
Duane i got rid of the plate...for several reasons....but mostly i wanted something to resemble the car and not my driving style.
as far as a 90/90 setup...i dont think i will. I port matched this ls6 to the heads to get more power....i dont have any more extra funds for it...my baby is coming in august.
Krazy- i know what you mean about 400 a few years ago Back then my 432 setup was bad company...ask SpellBound he knows

Now as far as getting high dyno numbers, i could have thrown on a short belt, pulled the filter, made it lean and post those numbers...Or even worse..changed the correction factor on the dyno .......but thats not a every day driving #...and thats what i wanted to post...what the **** makes when i actually drive it.

Well anything over 400rwhp is respectable.

Shop cars make the most power because they spend 100s of hours on the dyno perfecting everything.

Yep, or if you know a tuner really well. Tuning is half of the setup. You can't tune a car and get great numbers with just 1 session of tuning. It can take some time.

Which is why you go to one tuner are not happy then take it to another tuner and they pull another 5-10 out of it. Then the same with yet another tuner.

There are a couple of things on his car that are affecting his numbers that I think people are missing the boat on. like was said dyno's, day of the week, and weather all have alot to do with his reading.

Plus he has a 12 bolt which will eat more power and he has a LS7 clutch and LS2 flywheel. They are about 6 pounds heavier than the regular ole LS1 setup and that is going to rob some power as well.

Nice looking car you have there. Has your car been tuned? The numbers don't make any sense with the mods you have. There has to be an issue somewhere, my F13 (much smaller cam) cam only numbers were higher than this and others were making more than I with their F13 cam only setups.

Understood, but there may very well be an issue with his setup or motor and that's why I posted. We all know everyone's numbers aren't the same, there's a range for every setup, your preaching to the choir. He's just way out of the lower range so there are things to look at instead of just being satisfied with the low numbers. Compression? Pushrod length? Ring blow by? Tune? etc...

The motor may have a hurt cylinder or two because of the boost that was ran through it earlier as he stated. So thats a possibility but, hey if hes happy who cares ?

To me, the car hauls *** on the street...I took a ride in it when he first got it started. He can drive the **** outta that car...I would definitely wait until he gets the timeslips to back up my theory that that dyno is a bit on the conservative side.
