I will be installing the ls7 motor in 2 weeks so I hope that I have time to dyno this combo one more time.
results from another dyno?

little off topic, no one is questioning the quality of any dyno, I feel the dyno is only as powerful as the user. the main topic of this thread is number accuracy, not who has the highest numbers.

I took my car to another dynojet on saturday. The car made
495rwhp
483rwtq
I also found out that my car is running rich with a 11:1 AFR
In the past my car made the same power on both dyno's.

I took my car to the track today and I was able to run.
10.5@136mph
I think that the mph is slow for a 427 but I ran the car at SearsPoint and that track is known to be slower than Sacramento.
Thanks Rick And Nick for the dyno time. look like I need to find out why the car is running lean now.

So Why Did Rick At Synergy Dyno My Z28 And Wow I Was Impressed. Till I Got Wise And Wondered Why An 02 Z- With Lts,y-nocats,cold Air ,and Free Mods Dynoed 389 Rwhp. Ive Seen About That On A Cammed 2000 With A Pretty Hefty Stick. When I Confronted Him He Said His Mustang Dyno Was Off About 10 % .well Personally Im Angry And Dont Want To Be Lied To Again. No Hard Feelins But I Want What I Pay For And Cutting Corners Isnt What I Paid For.

I think it's kinda funny how people come out the woodworks and register on this site... just to talk ****........... I'm actually getting ready to finally finish up my 408... and plan on using 2 or 3 dyno's in the area just to see the difference in numbers JUST for ***** and giggles... I'll post my results when I have them.... Im much more concerned with how my car runs at the track as opposed to some dyno number. But to each is own.

I am thinking based on those heads, fast and that size cam that 550 rwhp. is not unrealistic at all from others I have seen. Also the ET and trap times are telling as far power.
"I also found out that my car is running rich with a 11:1 AFR"
I would be curious to see what it puts down when it dialed in.
Prefereby on the California 91 Corn Gas (the BTU just bites) + three gallons of 100. Food for thought. Literally..
