Default TSP 402 Texas Giant #'s

Hey guys, I finally got the bugs worked out and made it to the dyno today. The numbers aren't great but considering I have small headers, PRC heads and my Fast intake isn't ported I am pretty pleased. The motor only has 250 miles on it so its still pretty tight and it was probably 90+ degrees in the shop when it was on the dyno. The rest of my setup is in my sig.
Numbers
463rwhp/426rwtq closed cutout
497rwhp/448rwtq open cutout
Yes that is a 34rwhp gain with the cutout
This is proof of how restrictive Flowmaster's are

On the way home from the dyno it started to rain and the temp dropped to about 70 and it was like driving a totaly different car. I can't wait to open it up on a cool night.

Nice #'s .. That thing should scream once you get some more miles on it and dyno it on a cool day or night..

Good deal Chris. I couldn't believe it when he told me after the last pull that we got 34 rwhp from the cutout open. I was sitting in the car and I think my jaw hit the seat

one of my buddies just got a 402 ls2 in his TA..he said it put down 480rwtq but he didn't tell me the horsepower it put down..this was also with 1 3/4 inch headers and he is now switching to 1 7/8 headers so the numbers should definately go up ...oh yeah he also took it to the track and let off at the 1/8th and still ran a 12.3 so that thing flys...i wish i could afford one but anyway nice car and with some other little tweaks it should put down some great power

Torque seems kinda low. FWIW, with my LS6 intake, ported stock tb, and stock heads I put down 425/445 with an extremely low DCR of 7.4:1. I would have thought your numbers would be a bit higher. Can you post the graph?

I'm no rocket scientist, but I would wager it was TSP, aka Texas Speed
