Default Very Happy 358RWHP/378RWTQ From Bolt Ons

I'm on my way to building a fun street car. I dynoed this weekend at a Vette show. It did 358RWHP and 378RWTQ with exhaust and tuning. All previous dyno runs are in sig and all have been on the same dyno. I finally had Andy from Dynotune do some tuning on it with some surprising results. It has been a pretty strong car from the start doing 315/335 off the showroom floor.

Thats good numbers, but your traps do not seem to back up the big power. I am sure I will get flamed for this but...
Two of my buddies with a lid and catback trapped 107-108. Their cars did not dyno anywhere near what you did.
My opinion is the dyno showed some HIGH numbers. I am a firm beliver that dyno numbers should back up your times and traps.
I do not doubt your times, but I do doubt your dyno numbers. Every time I see these high numbers, they seem to pull the same traps and times as guys with 30 less whp and tq.
Just my opinion...

Bone stock -> 315RWHP 335RWTQ, 13.5 @105mph
TSP Lid, Magnaflow, TPIS BasicTune -> 335RWHP 365RWTQ, 13.1 @108mph
TPIS Headers & ORY -> 358 RWHP 378 RWTQ - Tuned by Andy @ Dynotune
These times seem RIGHT ON, but with the dyno numbers, I would have to assume it should trap higher.

If you compare Brainiac's numbers and times, that SEEMS DEAD ON. Now you compare NOJUICES numbers, which seem to be the same, yet his times are alot slower???
Does this not make any sense guys? Same dyno numbers, but slower traps and times???

I CALL HIGH DYNO NUMBERS....

How's this for a comparison. I ran 12.992@108.96 stock with 321/331. With exhaust, lid, self ported TB and tune with 354/373, the car went 12.53@ 111-112. Now with 4.10s it is currently running 12.3s@113.

Compare away

There are a lot more factors that go into a 1/4 mile than your dyno numbers.

Weight.
Traction.
Track conditions.
Weather.
Altitude.
Driver.
Gearing.
Rear end.
Suspension.
Stall and converter, tranny (auto).
Short stick, tranny, clutch, flywheel (manual).
And how well all of those are matched together and matched to your power under the curve.
