Congrads Shawn

Solid numbers....

Glad everything worked out well. I bet with some more tuning time and the engine breaking in a little you might creep closer to 525 RWHP. Either way excellent results and enjoy the new stroker. Im curious about your timing at WOT and your A/F....PM me or pick up the phone when you have some time. Might be able to help you free up a few more.

They also said they havent had any detonation at all and there is still more tuning to do to pull out a few more. The car has been down for 5 months and it has old gas in it. They are going to let me put a few miles on it, get fresh gas, and try to find a good fuel pump for it.

Glad to hear Cannons!!

You can update your Sig, we got 520/484. The car still runs like crap after 20 hours and 2 different tuners. I think we are going to go with a different operating system and speed density. I paid for dyno tuning, they couldnt get it correct and now I am going to have to pay more to go speed density.

Not bad numbers but I would have thought of a little bit more power, at least 10-15 more HP and 10 more TQ.

Billium, we could have made 550rw with a 250/250+ cam but it would be very peaky and have no torque down low, and start making power at 4000+.... This is smaller cam with only .590 lift, and has lots of 'under the curve' power. Don't forget a UD pulley and a meiziere pump, and there's 15 more there too...

Did you ever find out about MAF's Drivability vs. Speed Density's Drivability?

Congrats on your numbers. I have a similar combo, but with ET 245's, an A4 w/12 bolt, and (at the time of tune and dyno) had cats. I dyno'd ~496/446. I had to pull the cats because they melted a hole in my carpeting they got so hot LOL. So I guess 500/450. I expected yours to hit 20hp/tq more than mine, but I'm really impressed with the increase in torque. You gotta love the torque. I chose a broad torque band over a quick peak in hp too. I think I overshot the best intake runner size when I ordered my heads though.

I bet you'll eventually have to go speed density. I'm looking into it now. GM doesn't offer us high airflow demand guys a good option for MAF's, and I've given up on anyone coming up with a better MAF for us.

Nope, drives pretty good actually, but the 3800 stall is pretty forgiving. It wanted to buck a little slowing down with the TCC locked in 3rd gear so I changed it so it'd only lock in 4th gear. After that, no problems.
