Your biggest problem now is going to be traction...new power with a TC increases your traction issues...or it did for me anyway.

I am assuming you mean street tires by "tires". If my car doesn't run at least an 11.7 on my shitty Nitto DR's I will personally drive it off an overpass on my way home from the track. The footage of this will be prompty posted in the Multimedia Section by my wife immediately following her 24 hour grievance period.

You should be able to swing that man. My previous car with a 225/225 112, headers, ORY, Hooker catback, UD pulley, 3500 stall, and STOCK TB, went 11.9s in shitass humid weather on a 1.69 60ft, and 12.09 on a diff day on street tires with a 1.84 60ft. Given the same 60 on the 12.09 run as the 11.99, it would have went~11.76. It dyno'd 363 through the converter on TEAs dyno, which was known to be extremely stingy, and at the time (aug 04) was the highest cam only a4 to date.

Let us know the outcome, and good luck!

I had the same cam in my 99 when it was cam only. Only difference is I didn't have a ported TB, and I had an ls6 intake and stock '99 heads, and the TCI 4400 convertor. It put down 348 rwhp unlocked and went 11.85@115 on 255/50/16 mt et street radials, 11.99 on 315 nittos, same trap speed on both.
Guy that had the car before me had a 3600 convertor in it for a while and gained 3 tenths going from the 3600 to a 4400. That cam (well most cams) like more stall speed.
Good numbers though, it may go the same times mine did with a better 60' (my best was a 1.74 on the mt's and a 1.78 on the nittos)

Not everyones car is the same nor is every dyno. I'll bet that he runs mid-high 11's @ 114-115

Just seemed a little low. Didn't see what his other mods were. Auto should never be Dyno Queens.

Went to the track today, best I could manage was a 12.28 @ 109mph. 60ft was 1.68. Time and MPH are down from before the cam. Hoping it is a tuning issue. It was hotter than hell at the track so I am sure that plays a factor as well. Needless to say, I'm pissed and a bit disappointed especially since the track was hooking so damn good.

Something has to be wrong. I would of guessed you were going to be around a 11.8 at 115 mph. You arn't throughing any codes that could of put you in a limp mode.

No codes showing. I'm calling my tuner tomorrow to see what he says. The car feels good on the street but at the track, not so much. A couple of folks at the track told me it didn't sound like my shifts were firm enough, A4 sounded like it was granny shifting.

1/8 ET was 7.8 1/8 MPH was 87.46

Also did some checking on the Density Altitude for the day I ran the car. Normal altitude for the track is 187ft. DA that day was almost 2500ft. So I think in some better weather I will definitely see some 11's. Just have to be patient.

Not yet, if this son of a bitch doesn't pep up in some better weather, I'm selling it!

I felt the same way about mine after my first trip to the track (12.40 @ 118 ). That's when I decided to do my own tuning. I've picked up 26rwhp & 24rwtq just from tuning. Not sure what the track times are yet, but I'll know soon.

I suggest looking into HPTuners, or EFILive. It sucks having to rely on other people to make your car run the way you want it to.

It will. Probably a good 3 mph at least in the 1/4, 112 mph should be good for some 11.99999s Ever consider a higher stall speed convertor?
