Default Dyno Comparison on intakes

Has anyone done any dyno pulls on the lsx 90mm intake vs. the carborated style fuel injected intake? If so what would be a better intake to go with?

Well, first off if it were carburated style then it wouldn't be
fuel injected right?

Second, I would think that type of intake would flow better than the FAST 90, which will probably result in better dyno numbers. But that all depends on so many variables that it would be impossible to nail down exactly how much you would gain. It depends on the intake you chose, the size of your motor, your rpm range, etc etc.

I would be willing to bet that one a stock cubed motor w/ bolt ons you won't see much if any improvement. You might even lose some torque.

If your talking about a 9-second screamin 408, then it might be a worthwhile investment.

The best thing to do is go buy one and let us know how it works out

Thanks. That link helped me a lot. For my setup the carb style spyder intake would be the better choice. Thanks.
