there are not that many, maybe one, person here where i live that tunes.
idle problems, surge and bucking, not driveable.
that's why i am very surprise in a good way to have found your thread, and see how happy you are with it!man! that's awesome!
it does begin to pull a little to high for me, i think.
well, you tell me, 3800rpm, but before that?
how does it feel driving before the 3800?

under 3800 its perfect. very tame but of course its torquey! i have over 300 ft/lbs at around 2900 rpms, so its moves pretty good. of course with a cam this big ur losing some low end for top end, but i dont plan on trying to race under 3500-3800 rpms

before the tune it was surging and had major bucking problems under like 1100 rpms. but it allllll changed with the tune

very tame and very torquey!!! magic words!
no one has told me this, thanks man!!
330lbstq at 2900rpm, that is healthy.
that's what i want torquey, tame for driving around, but when it comes time to race, then, we have the power, right?
thanks,
listen, i got run, but i will check this thread later on.
if you don't mind, i would like to talk to you some more about it, before i get a buyer, ha,ha
later

Thanks! No cats, those numbers are with the cutout closed. I take mine to 7000. It peaks around 6500-6600 and only drops of 10 hp by 7000. Pulls like mad!

That was mine before I lost a cylinder I put down 385 torque and 410 hp on the same dyno. Dont know if car was sick at that time.
I was very impressed when he posted his numbers. I even called and talked to Tom about it. He came close to an FM13 with Tea heads as well. Same hp output as me but not as much torque.

So the differences are your exaust. He said you have 3 inch Y. How big are your headers?

Mine are 2.5 off the collector with a 2.5 catted y pipe into the factory d/d.
You've got 3 inch all the way into a hooker catback right? Could account for some missing hp on my end maybe. I was asking Tom if my heads would improve the torque at all. I was very impressed with the cam only numbers.

My car did 401rwhp/380rwtq with the TRQ2 cam and headers, still had the stock ls1 intake, stock pulley and stock TB. Now it has a nitrous tune with some timing pulled and it did 386rwhp. Cam has a nice powerband and pulls well, I think a ls6, asp pulley and ported TB would wake it up even more.
