Car runs awsome. You guys tell me what you think i cant really differentiate because of the vastness between 2 totally different dynos. Do you guys think the car gained anything?
You went in with 451 and came out wit 480, I think you gained.

The trick with dyno dynamics is where you place the air temp sensor. It should be placed at the filter inlet. That will vary the result the most. Otherwise you can run it on "shootout" mode that will usually bear very consistant numbers from DD dyno to DD dyno.

FWIW I've seen a bone stock c6z06 pull only 42x whp on a DD dyno. Yet it trapped what other z06's are, mid 120s

ive also heard of a bone stock Z06 making 490 on a DD dyno and we all know that isnt true. Too much variation on thoes dynos.

Lots of gain from a tune. Imagine what headers and a babycam would do??

ya the internal work will wait a lil while too much warranty left to void it now. The car is a monster as it is and from a 1st gear roll punching it at 3grand just lights the tires up even with traction control on then as throw 2nd hold on cause the car gets a little nutty on you. The traction controll system is by far the best i have ever seen in any car. It allows you to break loose enough to where you can leave it on and it does not affect the performance of the car.

Jeremy is still tuning in tampa but comes to south florida every 2 months or so it seems.

You may want to take it back to the original dyno to get a better idea of any gains from previous runs. This way there is no question. Most of the times load dyno's show less power. Anyhow, any true gain would be seen if a re-dyno is done on that same Dyno Dynamics unit now.

American Racing Headers. Sound great. Not sure how much they gained vs stock exhaust maybe 5-10hp. Do you think the LG longtubes would have pushed her up a little higher?

Props to the guy that tuned that, the A:F curve isn't a curve--it's a line.

I have seen the results of a few tuned c6 zo6's before and after LG's pro longtube headers. Before headers and already tuned, they were in the 470 rwhp area, after headers they were at 495 to 505 rwhp. The cool thing is that tq went from around 425 to 475. So 30 rwhp and 50 rwtq gain just by adding a set of no cat pro long tubes. Sounds good to me. Had the car been untuned it would probably have been something like 50 + rwhp and 60+ rwtq by adding the headers and a good tune. Anyways just passing on some of the results I have seen come out of LG Motorsports.

LG Motorsports offers I believe 5 levels of cams for the c6zo6. G7X1 uses the stock valvetrain as well. The other 4 require valvetrain upgrades and a little reworking of the head from I know about the process. Give them a call if you need more info, or if you are curious what kind of power these guys are making.

Thanks for the info. I may consider that a little later.I need to get comfortable with the car for a while. Its quite different than my previous cars. my 01Z06 was nasty compared to the F body's i drove, but this thing takes some concentration at WOT. But i can't sit still for long.................

What are you talking about? It's a perfectly flat line at 13 the entire run. That's perfect.
