Default 403ci reusing stock manifolds

THE BUILD:
*LS2 403 built by Xtreme Horsepower, 4" forged eagle crank, forged eagle H beam rods, ARP rod bolts, ARP main bolts, 4.005" wiseco pistons -8CC, rings file fitted for N20, everthing was balanced blue printed, clearance, etc. I was told CR on the sb is 10.8:1 if i were using stock LS1 heads unmilled.
*Dart 225cc/80cc Stg3 hand ported and hand finished bob at precision porting and coatings, coated, 2.055/1.60, 62cc chambers, 314@.600, patriot gold dual springs
*ARP head bolts, ARP crank bolt,
*powebond 25% underdriven pulley
*DTP STG2 23X/24X lift, .60x/.60x, 112+2, installed -6 Daves total performance in Ohio
*DTP ported fast 90 Daves total performance in Ohio
*S2 ported LS2 90 www.s2performance.net
*billet double roller timing set, LS2 lifters, comp push rods, LS6 rockers, 42# SVO injectors, vortex true ram air, BPP carbon fiber air bridge, corsa cat back

reusing stock C5 Z06 clutch for now it handled 518/459 with the blower just fine for 2k miles and then the LS6 popped.

i ran out of money needed to finish the car ASAP so im running stock manifolds and H-pipe for about a month.

The last motor similar to mine went 534/491 with kooks 1 7/8, auto and 12 bolt with 4:10 gears.

SO how much power am I leaving out there by reusing the stock manifolds and h-pipe?

40-50-60 whp??? torque??

what do you figure it will make?

what im expecting 450/450. this may sound crazy but id be happy with that for now since i havent drove the car since 12/22/05.

im sure your going to be leaving probably 50ish HP, but i understand where your at, i havent driven mine since december 05 either when i spun a bearing at the track. Much like yourself i went bigger and got a 408, its on the way to me now, but i also have a few things i still need to upgrade after i get it going. Good luck with it man.

picked the LS2 ported TB up from mark shanner today, what a nice piece of work for the money spent. i think this will definitely wake the car up even though i wont have a full exhaust system on the car.

A big thanks goes out to Daniel/Scott/Joe of SimplequickRacing for making this work for me. The car drives like a baby cam car and pulls like hell through all gears. I can put around at 1300rpm in 6th no problem.

well i got a call about an hour ago and i heard the car for the first time in over 10 months! im pretty excited a base tune/street tune will be put in tomorrow. im going to drive around and break it in, putting the typical 500 miles on it and then change the oil/filter. i have decided to run amsoil due to the fact that it cleaned up some problems my girls 80k mile 100% stock '02 SS had with valve train noise and oil consumption. So i figured why not. plus i have several friends running it in their high revving sport bikes. i havent switched to it yet in my 600RR, i think it will clean up some shifting issues im having under load.

so anyway... im pretty excited. my eyes watered up a little bit when i heard the snap crackle popping of the exhaust note from the cam that is in it. it sounded damn good considering it was idling on its own without missing a beat. the tune that is in it was for a Ati P1 blower with 38lbs injectors.

5 hours of street tuning/data logging and the 2 hours of time each day mark has put into recreating a new map, over the last 3 days and this thing is a beast! i have only taken it up to 5k rpms. i have 717 break in miles on it. oil/filter change tomorrow. map #7 will be uploaded after its finished based off the data log that was done today. Id say its 80% there, with 20% of small tweaking left in some areas. I had 2 bad 02 sensors, those were replaced yesterday and now that the new 02's are working, the tuning process has become even better.

after mark shanner is done tuning my car, no one else will ever touch the tune! you would have to meet him and really listen to why he does what he does, others may disagree with his thought process. I have Zero knock retard and its running up to 31.5 degrees of timing on 93 octane. id say that is pretty impressive. and yes the kock sensors are working cause in one situation he made some adjustments just to see if it would knock and then put them back where they were.

i have Zero oil consumption issues with the dart's. i have none of the problems other people have experienced with their LS2's.

ill get it dyno'd maybe next week, after we both are satisfied with the tune. he really takes his time and is wanting me(the customer) satisfied with the tune.

Also I hope you didnt pay much for the wrk done to the Dart 225's....to call 314 @ .600 a stage 3 head would mean that untouched the heads would be a stage 2 port job.

Mild port Darts have flowed approx 340+ cfm and full ports in the 350-360 cfm range (say like a TEA stage 3 port on a Dart head).

Not criticizing but that is pretty much a cleaned up stock Dart head your running.

i was told they were stage 3's and i paid 1k total for the pair with valves and comp 918's which i sold and put patriot dual gold springs on. maybe the thermal coating makes them a stage 3. everyone has their own specs and what they consider to be stage3. they are not milled either. from what i could see they have alot left that could be done to them in the future. larger valves on the intake side, more porting on intake and exhaust. i didnt compare them to TEA ports or anything else. so in your eyes they would be maybe a stage 1 or 2, in theirs stage 3 is what they call them.

817 break in miles and im changing the oil tonight to Mobil 1 EP 15w-50 the high performance stuff. Oil pressure is a little low, we think this will bump the oil pressure up a little bit. i drive hard and i wanted to make sure i have a good protection. this is oil is formulated for it, so I guess ill see what happens. we are tuning the car tomorrow for WOT redline pulls. 7200 rpms here i come.
