plannin on puttin a cam similar to this size with a smaller lsa in my ws6, jus wanna get a feel for what im in for

Old setup:
QTP headers, true duals with XR-1's, lid and tune with X3 on 112 put down 408/370.

pp stage 2 g5x3 114 all bolt ons (no fast) 12 bolt 3.73 made 441hp and 410tq. you have to install a arp rod bolts if you want to keep your engine safe with this high rpm cam. i used to shift at 6600-6800rpm. when i first installed the cam i raced my friend with his porsche turbo i was one car ahead of him until the 4th gear(before heads and the rear end was making 409hp/385tq).

the x3 is a great cam,don't use something similar.....use the x3 cam. i have a 01 ta,m6-afr 205 heads,x3 cam,all boltons(stock th-body and ls6 intake)12 bolt w/4.11's car made 434hp 390tq on a mustang dyno. 11.15@123mph 1/4 mi 3480lbs.....3,700lbs w/me in it. my new set up w/x4 cam & fast 90/90 463hp 414tq same dyno.

460/420 with full bolt ons, and the AFR 205 / G5X3 Head/cam pkg. I also have a Meziere EWP so a few of my ponies came from that. On a side note, I DO NOT have a 90 mm FAST or a 90 mm TB. 460/420 SAE made on an unported 78 mm FAST and a ported 78 mm TB

I think you will be very happy with the G5X3 cam, or a g5x3 immitator. Good luck.

allngnc5- i would love to see what your car would dyno on kirks dyno. i lost 25hp going from a jet to kirks stang dyno and i was in 90deg heat too.

I'd have loved to have heard back from Kirk. Kirk was so busy I gave up on having do anything with my car.

It would probably do like you said, 15 to 25 less. I heard Kirks dyno is a little stingy, but dead on.

A bit more power then the x3 throughout the rpm range with the biggest difference being felt up top. More duration and lift are two reasons she pulls so well all the way to 6800 rpms. Flows a little better then the x3, especially up top.
