Default New numbers after dyno day

Okay well had a fantastic turn out for our annual dyno day and was pleasently surprised with my new numbers after a few runs on the dyno and my tuner playing with the tune I dynoed 371 uncorrected RWHP on a mustang dyno with correction factors being between 1.14 and 1.16 my corrected numbers would have been between 422.9 an 433 that would be a 22 rwhp gain with the ported fast 90/ PTM 90mm TB. Very pleased it also confirmed how my butt dyno liked it! Also showed not only a 15rwtq increase in low end torque but a huge 30 rwtq difference in peak and over 5000 RPMs versus the LS6 intake. Tomarrow we are doing the 1/4 mile runs I should be able to kick some butt I hope haha.

Trans so far is doing well, dont know for how long. I have ordered a new stall for my car and with it i will put in a new built 4L65E. Took it to the track today for them first time and ran a 12.7 at 4800 ft above sea level had to drive all the way to wendover raceway to run cause our track was closed for the season. But ran hard and strong but I would be alot faster if I could launch, I left the light at idle and when it went green I gave it part throttle and the at about 20 ft out full throttle it produced the best launch. Cant wait to see what itll run with the stall and slicks, ow my 12 was on street tires toyo proxie 4s at 30 PSI.

Okay I will go by what I did post on the MUSTANG dyno which was 371 rwhp those numbers were not corrected and had a member of utah muscle cars correct them and they came out to be 433 but I will be going to the dynojet this week and will know what it posts after that. As too the alt chase that is what it corrected to but there again thats what I was told.

First off you can check out my time slip at wendover racing .com when they post the results to the october 22nd races. or if you want you can call them to check up on me, lol. I corrected myself on my dyno if correction factors are not allowed then I did post a 371 rwhp uncorrected on a mustang dyno I will go too the dynojet this week if they have it ready and post those results as I hear they are 30-40 HP higher, then since I dont have a way to scan my sheet in I will see if someone can do it for me.

Correcting numbers to a noted SAE standard for atmospheric conditions is one of the most important proceedures for the measurement and and public posting of HP or TQ. If a dyno operator does not even do that, I would question every other aspect of the operation, including proper calibration and operating knowledge of the equipment.

with how well those heads are flowing and everything else, i could see 430rwhp.. i think 99blancoSS was running 224 cam and was putting down numbers close to that.

Thanks guys I know the car feels good and is making killer power for such a small cam I have seen alot of guys make good numbers with it as well, even well into the mid 400s with an auto but you know there are those that cant handle that it can be done without a 250+ cam and big cubes all comes down to the combination and how it works together.

The dyno operator knows very well how to operate the equipment hes a very knowledgable guy he just chose not to correct them to show us exactly what we were making on that day at our alt. But a correction factor is from what i know a good thing to do. I know I sure feel better after correcting my numbers verse non corrected but hey thats me.

heres the stats for that day at the dyno

Incase anybody is interested, http://www.csgnetwork.com/relhumhpcalc.html
This calculator bases the dyno correction factor off the SAE standard atmosphere (SAE corrected).
Parameters for Saturday:
Average Temperature: 43 degrees
Barometric Pressure: 30.5”
Relative Humidity: 63%
Physical Altitude: 4920 feet

Gee that falls right into what I was told around 1.14 to 1.16 I was told 2 different ones, but just so you know that the factors you plugged in were for one point in the day as the day changes so does temp, humity, etc etc so that was at one time during the day could have lessened or gotten higher as the day progressed.

hey bandit... what did they put your race wieght at on your dyno slip???? hahahahha guess what maybe you should realize your graph was skewed from the start due to incorrect vehicle weight plugged into the computer. which in turn. padded your numbers CLEAR THE **** up .

3240 vehicle weight for an Fbody will make your numbers come out higher than they really are.. but oh yeah.. i forgot... you already knew that because you custom built the dyno they put your car on and know exactly how it works. not to mention you worked on dynos all your life and inspect the space shuttle...

this ****** guy man....

Well for one Chase please refrain from swearing at me or I will report you to the mod and have you banned as you were from Ut muscle cars for your mouth writing checks your limp body cant cash.

Second I asked heath about that cause I did see that mistake but guess what thats not the weight of your car either but hey your the one splitting hairs here. Heath said that it will not make a noticable difference more so on a boosted car but on a NA car or N2Oed car it would change a few horses. So yeah already noticed that and asked about that.
