On the dyno are you richer or leaner than on the street?

Does running on the street lean out or richen the A/F ratio, compared to when you're on the dyno?

depends on the dyno. I own a dynojet 224xLC with the eddy loading system and I've seen a/f results VERY close to street pulls with the system loading appropriately. If the dyno can't load, then it will be leaner making street pulls. As much as .5.

Good question, I have been wondering the same thing. When I changed my a/f on a dyno I set it at 12.9:1, but then started thinking about weight and load differences. I may richen it up a little and see what results I get next year.

This is why it is so much better to set up your fuel, timing, auto shift points, etc on a dyno, any brand, that can simulate your actual engine loads.
