I really dont think you have anything to worry about. Where about in SL are you? My company has a terminal over off Soccer, on 44, in Fenton. So I get there every so often.
Good luck, and post up your times when you do run.

I expect the car to pick up 20rwhp when broken in. I have drove it on the street a couple of times. I set the revlimiter to 7400 and it pulled the whole way.

the damndest thing happened on MY stalled th400, believe it or not the tranny cooler was too small and it wouldn't dyno over 700rwhp because it was emptying the converter. change coolers, it's fixed. looking at the HP curve, i would DEFINITELY try that, it's got good slope almost to the middle where it flatlines. also use john deere hy-gard tranny fluid. call me crazy but it worked for me. my car went from 3rd gear/3.73/29" tire full throttle 6300 on the limiter in the 1/8th to bumping the limiter in 2nd
both runs @ 110mph.
EDIT: I just saw the track times it's fine
