Default 408 victor et245 dyno

This car has only 6 dyno runs on it but it runs good but has alot of blow by. Here is more info on the car https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-racing-tech/586557-about-my-car.html

LME408
253 257 .647lift
12:1
et245
ported victor
1 7/8 to 2inch step kooks
th400 mvb
yank converter
strange 12bolt
steel driveshaft and 28inch slicks

hers the dyno sheet http://www.mccordcg.com/pcm/dynocharts/ls408cp.jpg

I hope the car picks up alittle power when it is broke in but I am happy with what it did.

HRMMMM.. those numbers seem VERY low to me.. with that cam and those heads this should be another 550 RWHP car.. i made comparable numbers with my lil ole patriot stage 3's and a stock LS6 manifold and with less compression.

whats the deal with all these low dynoing ET headed cars?

meh i agree and disagree at the same time.. not all of us build these cars for track performance.. i built mine to joyride around in and power the hell out of the twisties.

beating up on bullet bikes on the freeway is always fun too

Through an unlocked automatic, those numbers look strong. Probably difficult to estimate what the motor would do with a manual transmission, but I would expect that it would be anywhere from 30-50 rwhp higher. Good numbers!

those are the words I was looking for. That means yank did their job 4000 was the goal on the motor and it is around 4200. This car is built to run a 300shot.

Congrats dude.. mine is comming together very quickly too. Mine is VERY simalr to yours LME 408 11.85:1 , Same cam as yours, Same ported Vic, But i went with the TFS 225 heads... might make a good comparison between the two heads..

difference would be my headers are 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8th, im running power steering still, i dont have the electric water pump, im using an intake elbow and a nick williams 90mm TB, im running a 4l60 with a 4k TC... plus i dont have any one to tune it.. ill have to figure that one out i guess.

Its hard to compare auto numbers. Ive seen the exact same car/combo go from 450rwhp to 385rwhp going from a T56 to a TH350.
