Default TRAK numbers

I figured I'd post this for my friend since he's not a member. He had a TRAK cam installed this week. He's running stock heads, pacesetter LT's, LS6 intake, Loudmouth, and SLP lid on a 98 SS M6. He got it tuned today and put down 397 rwhp and 377 rwtq. Once he puts a TB, cutout, and pulley on, he should easily surpass 400 rwhp. Took me for a ride and I was amazed at the top end it had. We were on semi-wet roads so he couldn't get much traction in 1st and 2nd but after that, the car just took off!

awesome...i was there for his start up...his car didnt idle hunt...it was like it was meant to be...lol
did they have oil pressure issues ? Dave said it started to get real low.
With that exhaust he doesnt need a cutout....
a pulley or one of my ported tb's will get him over 400!

Tell Jaime he needs me to port a throttle body for him!

It was good to met Jamie, and the trak cam made really good power. With no pulley, stock tb, no cutout it is really impressive! I tried to sneak 400 out of it, but it just wasn't there!

Chris, The 98's seem to have a lil lower pressure. His was about 30-35 at idle so he is ok. I think the 98's had more accurate gauges then the rest of the years as the water temp actually works in them.

Just an update on Jamies car...
we ran his car against our friends H/C 90/90 M6 car who made 42X/40X hp and they were very close untill 4th gear was ran out and the H/C 90/90 car pulled about 1 1/2 car lenth...
these were 2nd gear rolls at 40mph....
very very impressive cam in my opinion.
