I work in schaumburg and I have dealed with both speed inc and outlaw numerous times.
if you want a dynojet run go to speed inc.
if you want a mustang dyno run to to outlaw
in regards to blowing up a car on the dyno, every shop will make you sign a release form stating that if anything happens to the car its not their problem.
Remember when your car is ran for dyno numbers they do take your car up to 130-140mph.
Both speed and outlaw are great shops but I prefer dealing with Tony at Outlaw. Nice guy and great people person.
Post this is the midwest section on here and see what people say about the IL shops.

Quote, "i heard speed inc. has blown up a few cars"
All dyno shops have or will have this happen if they are around very long, especially those that have a customer base with a lot of high boost vehicles. It's like finding a race track that never had an accident or had engines fail. The more knowledge and experiance the dyno operator has the less chance of it happening. The less knowledge and experiance the customer has that brings the dyno shop their various concoctions the greater chance of it happening. So the answer is, don't find a new shop in town that has yet to have this happen.
