So what's the biggest cam(approx) based on XE-R lobes(or similar, just not going with those huge LSK lobes) that you think will fit without flycutting?

Is the biggest advantage of 5.3 heads increased compression? What's the compression?

The Torquer 3, 233/239 or MS3 will be the largest you can run with these heads. If I had my choice I would probably go with the torquer 3 for a little more midrange that it provides. All three cams will work fine though!!

Can you guys can make custom camshafts based on XER lobes? I like the specs of the Torquer 3, but I'm afraid to run those high lift lobes on my DD. I put on alot of miles on my car. Don't want to be going through expensive double springs until I get another DD.

If you don't like the torquer v.3 then go with the torquer v.2 because its almost the same cam just using the XER lobes.

We also have the PRC 5.3l heads setup for the MS3 camshaft. They are special order with a little bit different setup valve depths, but with some extra time & tweaking they work very well! We have shipped all backorders on 5.3l heads! Give us a call if you guys need a set & I'll make it happen.

And what ever happened with those dyno test that were supposed to be coming out. I am going to be ordering a set of heads and cam package soon and have several of your options in consideration.

Guys I still haven't been back to the engine dyno for testing. I'm currently holding out for a few more head configurations to get finished up! We recently had a 5.3l stg2.5 & 228 camshaft go 430rwhp through cats in a c5! I'll post that graph up very soon!
