Default ALL New PRC Stage 2.5 5.3L Head Results!!!!

We finished the installed on the new PRC Stage 2.5 5.3L heads on John's car here at Texas Speed. The specs on the heads are as follows:

2.02 SS intake valves
1.57 SS exhaust valves
PRC Dual Spring Kit w/ Titanium Retainers
CNC 63cc Combustion Chambers
220cc Intake runner volume

Heads came off the CNC machine, onto the Newen CNC seat and guide machine for the valve job, onto the flow bench and then bolted onto the car. These were NOT a "prepped" set of heads, no extra hand finishing, no milling.

The car specs are as follows:

2000 Camaro SS
10k mile LS1 shortblock
LS6 Intake Manifold
Lid
Powerbond Pulley
Magic Stick 3 cam
QTP 1 7/8 Long Tubes
Texas Speed Rumbler X System

Below is an overlay of before and after the head swap. Only things that changed here are the heads. The dyno is having issues reading torque, so that is the reason the graph reads to 1500, we are working on getting this lined out. This week we will have new results using a FAST90/PTM90 and the graph should have torque. Let us know what you guys think!!!

That is a gain of 62rwhp!!

Hot damn! Flycut and mill those puppies! Should be even more power left in em. Those are damn good numbers. Can you scale the graph down though to just read up to 500hp so we can see the graph more clearly?

I can't since the tach reading was off and couldnt get an accurate torque reading. We will have a better idea when we throw the fast 90 on and re-dyno.

It should work out great, should have more clearance than the MS3....you might be able to get a little more static compression out of it and have a little more low end and midrange than the MS3. I was extremely surprised at how well these heads picked up, even through the LS6. I might take some time after work and bolt the Fast on and see what it does.
