Default Just got back from dyno...

Mods in sig, minus the ported TB due to high idle problems it caused...

First pull untuned was 373 rwhp and 360 rwtq

they had a feeling that the injectors might be holding it back, so they threw twice as much fuel at it as they normally would and the a/f ratio barely went up - maxed out injectors supposedly. So I left only with 377.8rwhp and 366.9 rwtq.

I'm pretty psyched it even put those initial #'s down. So, I think I might be looking for some 30#-36# injectors. The guy told me I would be somewhere around 400rwhp in I went with larger injectors. Can anyone back this up?

Here's a picture of the sheet.

And for the record, all the guys at eastside performance were wicked cool and had some pretty cool cars. They even picked up subway for my buddy and I.

i'm sure you will get more out of it,how much i can't say since i'm not a tuning expert.but add some fuel and you should be able to bump your timing up a little.how much timing are you running?are those LS6 heads stock or ported?and i like that TQ curve.nice and flat.i bet it's a blast to drive around town...

They're untouched 243's aside from having a thousandth of an inch shaved before installation because they were slightly damaged.

I'm not sure about the timing. They didn't fill me in on every detail, although I wish they had. All I know is that it does run more smooth now. And yes, it is VERY fun to drive. Big jump adding LT's, 243's and that cam all at once.

Anyone recommend any 30# injecters? I'm liking ws6store's price on ford injecters.

By looking at the dyno graph--you do not need bigger injectors.Stock injectors can hold 430-450rwhp.The tune just looks lean across the board.

That's what eastside was saying. I plan on checking my cash status, and ordering them within a day or two. It'll be sweet. I believe it is still set pretty fat right now, just injecter limiting. If I throw something like some 30# on i'll notice a bit of a difference. The cool part is I get to go back and have them tune it all nice no charge, since their tuning ability was seriously hindered today. Thanks for the responses guys. Gotta love the tech.

You do not need injector's!

It looks to me like you have a mass airflow problem.Probly dirty.

if it had injector problems the A/F would be fine across the midrange then go lean at the topend. 370hp isn't close to maxing the injector.

I think you could be out of injector...what you said in your original post, with them throwing twice as much fuel at it and not getting a super rich AFR tells me that. If you are seeing a fuel pressure drop at WOT like I do, your injectors will have to stay open longer to compensate. My stock 28.8 lb-ers are showing signs of too high of an injector duty cycle with my bolt-on only car...I'll see if the 30 lb Bosch injectors I'm putting in this weekend help.

I don't think its your injectors either. Should take 400rwhp (or a little more) It could be your fuel system is not flowing enough fuel. ie pluged fuel filter or weak fuel pump.

A) check your fuel pressure
B) you will be in the upper end of what stock injectors can handle. past 80% duty cycle (conseritive #) so getting 30# wouldn't be a bad thing even if it doesn't fix the problem.

Tomorrow, I'm going to install the new fuel filter I bought tonight and clean my maf with some lectra-clean stuff I bought too. Hopefully I notice something. If not, than slowhawk and or injecters will be next on the list. Thanks again guys.

I wouldn't count on it being the fuel filter unless it is really, really old.

remeber guys 2000's came with 26 # injectors not 28.8! 01-02 got those. Run a TR6 plug could sqeeek out some more timing.

If you need a bigger injector there are a slew in the for sale section.

HOPE THAT HELPS!!

I've noticed some of them in the for sale section. But the only one's that are up are like 42lb-60lb aftermarkets and some 28.8lbers from the late models. Would I benefit from running a cheap 28.8lb versus spending 300 bucks on one that will only be slightly larger(30lb)? Thanks.

And Nice #'s there. Pretty impressive.
