HP Guesstimate? (from experience?)
) has an 02 SS 35th anniversary with the M6. It has SLP long tubes, SLP high-flow cats, and SLP dual-dual along with the SLP Lid, and MAF. I was wondering if any of you would have a decent guesstimate at RWHP on a car like this, based on avg stock hp #'s.Also, what do you think a car like this would top out at speed wise, and does anyone have a gear/speed calculator for the M6 that you can also adjust the rear end ratio in?
Thanks, AP.
so really rough gestimate - 355rwhp but like I said give or take some. every car is different and responds different than other cars.
as for your gear calculator here you go...

Just remember to adjust it to your tire size and such. Also bare in mind that although 5th and 6th gear may take the car very high up as far as mph doesnt eman it will do it. wind resistance is a big factor at those speeds. and jsut for some more knowledge 4thg ear is moms 1:1 gear which will have the most power when its in the powerband

It did run a lil rich after the headers, but I think it was the slp MAF that really made it run rich. Well that's what I was told from the guys at TSP when they tuned my car.

P.S. I understand how the wind and aerodynamics work, making it so you have to boost HP so much to get minimal MPH gains once your at those speeds.
*EDIT* Is there a set of guidlines on the top speed that these cars *hit the wall* at with different HP numbers?

Hey thanks for the info and the calculator man. See, the reason I was asking about the calculator and stuff is I was talkin to a friend of mine (has an '01 ZO6), about speed and stuff. I was tellin him about how fast the car has been, and he said he honestly doesnt think it could have gone that fast so...I've been using the calculators and everything, and they are matching up to what the tach was reading (speedo was uh...maxed?), and backing up what I know I did. Also he said wit just bolt ons it shouldn't be able to pull those kinds of speeds...So I'm just trying to get my facts straight and check stuff out.

lol tell your friend to do some more research on his f-bodies. we got the exact same motor as the base model corvettes. I remember back in like 01 or 02 some magazine tested either a t/a or camaro I forget and manged to make it do like 171mph or soemthing like that

I wasn't sure because it was half about the bolt on's, half about the rest
