Default Kooks LT and true duals with H-pipe gains.

First set-up is a Y-pipe with a Magnaflow cat-back with cats, untuned. 2nd sheet is of the same car with a true dual H-pipe, crush bends with cats, *edit* Kooks LTs *edit* 3"/2.5" over the axel, tuned, uncorrected. Overall difference was 22 rwhp and 16 rwtq.

Wow very nice info. So true duals do make more power.

Let's see...

You add Kooks long tube headers
Tune the motor

Oh yeah, and duals with H-pipe

Gained 22rwhp and 16 tq.

Since most people gain that from LT headers alone, either your tune or your H pipe is not making much of a difference. Congrats on finding new power though.

^Well I think 328/344 was a pretty high starting point for a baseline dyno with only a cat-back. Should I have run a worse flowing cat-back at first, so my difference in gain with all these mods could be higher? Considering 360-365rwhp is about how much a complete bolt-on car will make, I guessed, and was right on with 350 with these mods. If anything, we should commend Magnaflow for flowing so well, rather than bashing the 22 rwhp gain.

And I dont think im being "hurt" with any of these mods, considering im making 360 rwtq.

Holy misleading thread Batman! I think a title change might be in order...I came in here expecting that the duals were the only change made from the first dyno to the second.

No one is bashing the 22 rwhp gain...it's just that the thread title is misleading. It should read: Kooks LT and true duals with H-pipe gains.

noones bashing anything but the title is wrong when you added basically a full exhaust change not just going from catback to duals. Ill be doing my own dyno comparison soon to see if they help me any.

Those are definitely stout numbers...probably on the upper end of the full-exhaust LS1 spectrum.
