Default Do these #'s seem right

Mods are in sig, but today I got it dyno tuned, 314 w/341 ft lbs (baseline). I only picked up 5 horse with a tune, and 4 ft lbs to make 319, w/ 345 ft lbs. Is it because of the 273 gear? Auto? I was hoping to gain 15-20 with the tune, kinda bummed..

Sounds about right.

Tuning is never a garrenty. Now,maybe the car had KR when it showed up and they tuned the KR out before it left.On the road/track the car would be faster because it is not knocking.Dyno's are very misleading.

Yep,

You shouldn't feel so bad, even if the results where not what you expect because now the car is tuned and you know it.

Does it feel better to you on the street?

It feels a hell of a lot stronger on the street, it has 273's and now it gets sideways at 40.. I can tell a big diffrence by just listening to the car, and it's response. Before, you would really have to give it gas to get it going, and it would be extreamly raspy. Now you can push the gas and go without "most" of the rasp. After driving it around today, I am pretty pleased.

yup, just sounds like the car was pretty close on the stock compensation so the tune just helped out driveability and throttle response etc, sounds good

Wow, our cars are pretty much the same.

I have a 2001 A4 2.73 with Pacesetter LTs, ORY, lid and i dynoed at 316rwhp/323rwtq after a tune.

I would be a little suspicious about that 345 torque. Check the dynosheet and make sure there wasn't a spike? On one of my dyno pulls the torque had a spike but the hp stayed the same.

Where in Tennessee are you? I'm near Memphis.

The tourqe is correct because it first dynoed at 341, then 343, then 345. So it was pretty consistent. I live in nashville, but I go to school in cookeville, TTU.

Have you ever ran yours to get #'s. Hopefully I'll be in the 12's now.

Those numbers seem very normal in comparison to others I have seen or heard about.

They should dyno an A4 in 3rd gear. I have about the same mods asside from my Ported and Polished TB and made 346hp and 350tq on my 02 WS6 A4. Don't I repeat Don't have them up the shift firmness on the tranny. I had it done and now its starting to slip. Just my .02
