Normally its tuned for 13.5 but since it was hella cold and very humid, it looks like it compressed it a bit more...
You might wanna check with Jose in the FI forums for a turbo that would fit your goals...
What kind power are you looking for? Is it on pump or race fuel?
You might wanna go with an S80 or S85 (I think they have it), supposed to spool up better, make a lotta power and is a smaller fit.

I think with my low DCR (9.5:1 SCR 7.0:1 DCR) numbers I could get away with higher boost numbers on pump gas (I also have a meth kit installed if I need it), maybe 18-20 psi. I'm new to the turbo scene, so I'm trying to absorb as much info as I can right now. Thanks for the help so far I'd like to come check out your car when I have some time. Might not be for a week or two, but I'll let you know.

I just read up a lot, unforunately im not very mechanically inclined, lol.
Just let me know when you wanna swing by.
And yes, with 800+rwhp you should be at least getting in the 10's... Parish had a t88 on his 408 in his truck and ran bottom 10's.
He was making over 1000rwhp though, but 100rwhp shouldnt be worth a full second on trucks like yours...
From my experience in the FI world (i dont know if it differs for trucks since they are much heavier), but typically you can make more power with more boost and lower compression then the opposite. at least for pump gas that is...
with 9.5 CR, i think you wont be able to make more then 12 psi safely on pump, unless you start sprayin the meth.

I know my SCR is a bit high for those numbers, but my DCR is what is really important. I ran some stock specs through my DCR calculator and got 8.3:1 DCR, maybe lower that a little bit with a bigger cam, but he's still running 14 psi. I'd be interested to see what your DCR numbers are as well. Do you have the seat timing specs on your cam? They should be in the 280's or 290's. Also - what thickness head gaskets, what size combustion chambers, what dish on the pistons, and how far out of the hole are they at TDC? I'll run your setup through and see what it comes up with.

Haha, I'll be honest. I have no clue what the numbers are for what your asking, lol.
My suggestion would be to either call and ask Allan at FMS, or maybe make a post with your setup and project and let the FI gurus help you figure it out.

2000 Tran Zam, nice numbers man!! I didn't catch it, but was the cause of your last problem (clutch/tranny??). Glad to see that you have it up and running STRONG!
Next time I am in the Phoenix area, I'll have to PM you....it would be great to see that beast in person I may be in Tempe on business in the next couple months.
