Okay let me try to address some of these questions. As for gas mileage this is how it looks right now. I am getting about the same as I was before in the city around 15 mpg. Now on interstate right now I am looking at around 24 mpg cruising at 75 mph. Today, I started drafting on some people and the mpg shot up to 28 mpg. It is still well, withing what I wanted for the car and should improved slightly with time.

As for other heads for the car I have been looking at two options. I can send off the darts to be worked over for around 1700 with some bigger valves. Now the only down side to this is the down time for the car to pull the heads, send them off, and reinstall. The other option I am looking at is a set of All Pro Hurricane heads. A set of these with the valves and CNC package would be around 3000. I would also have minimal down time with the car and could make some money back selling the Darts.

The more I drive the car the more I enjoy it. The only down side has been that it has rained since I picked the car up. Now driving in the rain has been a true test to stay out the power and keep it safe. I believe later this week some better weather should be on hand for me to play with things.

nice numbers and awesome setup. guess i just wish the torque didn't fall off like that towards the upper rpm... but if the cam is strictly a midrange cam.. then good good thats awesome

The torque would fall off a bit, but not be so bad if I had better flowing heads for the top end.

Strong numbers for the current set-up. Let us know what heads and the final tuning is......

Hahahaha.. I guess since you let the cat out of the bag, I'll wish you congratulations

That torque is ridiculous and makes a little more than my blower setup

We'll see what happens

You made a couple less horsepower and 50 more rwtq than somebody's 383ci single-plane-converted AFR 220cc 250/260 LT1 car that we know.

Good thing you went to the right place

What compression does it have? Numbers seem low unless the compression is loooow
