don't out of the box dart 205 only flow like 270 cfm? Those heads are killin it for sure! How about some Trick Flow's? Or just let Allans head porter get ahold of your darts?

Just noticed that. Those 205s are holding it back. I was thinking it said 225. Some nice ported LS6s and a cam change would put it 500+

Nice numbers on those heads

I think they were flowed independantly and shown to flow somewhere in the 260s.

Well, my set flowed 280 cfm on Thunder flow bench, and it's notorious for flowing low.

These are the same heads that picked up 29 rwhp over a set of stock LS6 heads. They can't be all that bad.

Good numbers Mark Let me know if you want to let go of the darts, they might be enough head for when I build my new motor.

Ross I will put you on the list for them. Austin actually asked me for them first, but you will be second in line. I think I am going to try and get 1300 for them.

We'll see what happens

You made a couple less horsepower and 50 more rwtq than somebody's 383ci single-plane-converted AFR 220cc 250/260 LT1 car that we know.

Good thing you went to the right place

Nice numbers out of a LS1. SHould be a blast to drive.

Kraest if you are comparing an LT to a LS learn what apples and oranges are.

We're comparing an apple with a worm in it that costs $3 and a delicious orange that costs $0.30.

I used to own a 396 LT1. I'm quite aware of their potential, thanks.

There's no reason someone can't make power with a $10,000+ solid-roller LT1, unless the reason is poor R&D.

The remark was made in jest for Mark's humor. Not sure why you're calling me out?

Update!!! I just got the final tune in the car and picked up a few more ponies. I am up to 487 rwhp and 473 rwtq. The car still only has 1600 miles on the engine.

Those are some nice numbers! Do you have that graph available? Hows it carrying out up top past 6.5K?

I will have to try and scan it this weekend. The car still needs better cylinder heads so it does not carry past 6500.

As for track times I managed an 11.4 @124 tonight taking it easy on the car launching at 3000 rpms and shifting lazy.

From memory Darts docs say 290 FWIW.
They do flowing on a wet bench, so you cant just go from CFM either. (At least I tell myself that )

But I agree there are probably nicer heads out there now (Maybe not at the
same price point though)

I plan on moving to some ported LS6 heads. I feel the 205 intake runner just does not have the volume needed for the cubes. It is pretty obvious in the tuning and graph that it is having trouble filling the cylinders.
