Help me pick my next cam.
Can somebody tell me what would be the difference in hp/trq, driveability, tuning between running it on a 110 lsa, 112lsa, or 112+2 lsa???
BTW, my tuner Cartek is telling me to run it on a 116lsa for better driveability, ease of tunning, and a broader powerband. It does make sense that I'll have less overlap, but in turn the IVC is also happening later.
I love the lope of my cam and the rumble my car has. Check out the video of my car's idle on my site.
Sounding more to me like you should have gone with a small cam and a boosted configuration, because if you don't like the bucking and surging that can be expected with a bigger H/C setup and you want lower power peaks and still produce 500 rear wheel on stock cubes then you may want to look at that.
My next mod will be fuel/STS-type turbo kit/FMIC/2 bar map and a smaller turbo friendly cam.

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time

Yeah but keep in mind the design of the TFS head allows a much more aggressive cam shaft because of the change in the valve angle. That cam may need fly cutting with a different NON-TFS head.
I'm going with smaller cam to get power back down low, I'm actually looking for a cam that'll hit peak hp at 6500rpm with the TFS heads.(I shift at 67xx)
I'll be happy if I can still stay at around 470-480rwhp after I switch over to a "small" 232/236 cam, and I'll switch from the 100shot to a 150 then I should be good to go.
