Again, SS has free'er flowing exhaust. So it will make a few more.

My car ran 12.18 @ 113 with the mentioned mods plus pulley at 3500lbs in 1000ft DA. But 400rwhp was not going to happen.

241s are not ls6 heads.

Alright man, I dont know what you have against me cause you have posted negative stuff against me in a previous thread. Let me clear this up for you, I dont tune cars, im goin off of what a guy who tunes LS1's said. And lastly, what does my screen name have anything to do with tuning, or are you just jealous because you didnt think of it?

Molester,

There is a good chance that the Mustang Dyno you were on was calibrated to read like a Dynojet. The only way to know for sure is to go to a dynojet and run it there and compare numbers.
Have you run it down the track yet? If so what was your trap speed?

the dyno puts a load on the car, I know cause they asked me how much the car weighs. They never set it up to read like a dyno jet.

my highest trap was 107.15 and i dont know if it would make a diff but i dont power shift.

I should be around 365-370 on a dynojet once the ls6 intake and ud pulley go on. 330 now on mustang dyno+ 15hp for those bolt ons times 7% for difference between mustang dyno and regular dyno =370, not too shabby. crossing my fingers

My **** made 333rwhp and 345rwtq on a dynojet and traps 110mph, and I don't speed shift it. And that's on some 18x9.5 Z06 wheels with Kumho Ecsta 712s that don't let me get any lower than a 2.1 60ft.

You sure you makin' 333rwhp on a Mustang or can you not drive? J/W

When i dynoed 340/350 with a clogged fuel filter! A/F was 14.9, stock tune I traped 110mph with a 13.5 pass with a 2.2 60ft with some tires i ran a 12.7 at 111.mph with a 1.8 60ft so with if your not getting traction you mph will be up. Put some tires on it i bet you mph will be lower! But your over all time will be faster! MY car had full tank of gas and everything in car with a 260lbs driver

Mine ran 13.006@110mph and wasn't spinning, I left off-idle 'cause the 18s won't hook worth a **** if you leave any higher. And my tune isn't exactly from the best of tuners, either.

All I'm saying is a car that traps 107mph is NOT makin' 333rwhp on a Mustang dyno unless the driver absolutely sucks.

Add that with some headers, intake, throttle body and some exhaust and i think it would easily be over 400 on any dyno.

Im sure that it makes some differece you being on an island AT sea level. I got my car tuned in another state where the altitue was about 2000ft higher. I need to go get it dynoed here and see what kinda gain i make.

i could see the 00 and earlier cars making a little more than the 01-02 cars because of the better cam.but 400 thats a little much.the guy that done my tune said it was worth 21hp on a stock car.but i didnt get the tune for a stock car.

01-02 cars routinely make more rwhp, all things being equal, than 98-00 cars.

If I remember right no aftermarket part had touched oil so I don't think 1.8 RR's were used.

If fix a problem like running way to rich or way to lean. Make the car more streetable or all out race tune.

Sometimes this leads to gains in hp. But just because a car makes the most hp with one tune doesn't mean its the best tune for car/engine or that the engine is running at its best.

I'd say ~10-15rwhp MAX with a tune on a bolt-ons N/A car.

Max. If it were forced induction then yeah you can gain as much as 100hp. lol
Although there is no way that guy is seeing 400 RWHP on a bolt on car, ever. I was at Extreme yesterday that had a bolt on Z28 make 319/338 with bolt-ons and no tune, after I watched them tune it (me standing there the whole time) the ended up with 349/364 (perfect 13:1 AFR), the car has longtubes, a lid, LS6 Intake and a TB.
