Default Analyze my dynograph ... what could improve it?

Too rich/lean? ... look better down low or up top? ... torque curve too bent or too flat? ... will produce better ET or 60' times? ... strong appearance? ... weak for the drag strip but good on the street or vice versa? ... any comments welcomed.

A/F looks good and the power looks good, especially if those numbers are for an unlocked automatic.

You haven't said where your timing is, but those AFR 205s are going to like 28-29 degrees of timing at WOT.

I remember people saying that Norris's dyno was a little stingy (at least I think it was his)...that combined with your automatic transmission leads me to believe that you have a strong car. I'd bet it runs well on the street and at the strip.

Thanks fellows. As for Mike's dyno, yeah, NEXT and a lot of the more serious racers like him here call it 'The Humbler'. It's been proven to toss out about 3% lower numbers than other dyno's. Mike himself has dyno'd on other dynjet's to verify that theory. The power curve looked pretty good to me, but, I really don't know that much when it comes to reading graphs.

Anybody see anything wrong with it at all? Mike couldn't get the Yank to completely lock up the last time I dyno'd and locked it hit 425 RWHP ... this dyno was better numbers with the 90/90 setup, so, that should make my numbers unlocked about 440+ if the converter would completely lock up ... hopefully, my first run with it will go low -mid 11's if track conditions and weather are good.

10's would be really nice, but, it's very unlikely with my setup from looking at other similar cars.

Look like it will be alot of fun to drive. What is the LSA on the cam? What is your compression ratio. Did you have ur AFRS milled? How much? Did you measure piston to valve clearance? My ARFs are on the way. Thanks for the help.

114 LSA ... milled to .60 with GM MLS gaskets (for a tight seal with no seepage) ... compression should be about 11.2-11.3 I think. Left a little on the table, but did not measure the actual P-T-V clearance.

Thanks

Do your pistons have valve releafs or are they flat.

I'd say that's a pretty strong setup - especially for a 224 cam through an unlocked A4. The only way to evaluate the tune really is while the car is on the dyno. AFR might be a little on the lean side for my likes (don't care for leaner than 12.8). In my limited experience, there may be a couple more hp hiding if you richen it up a little. If you make the same power after richening it up, then it's at least a little safer of a tune. Only if you lose power would I keep it that lean. Spark works the same way. You want to run the lowest (safest) timing that makes the most power. Adding and subtracting a little timing while keeping an eye out for KR as you make your pulls will help you find your sweet spot.

Pistons are flat as far as I know. They weren't flycut.
