it prolly is a hellava lot faster. But unless God himself is driving the car....you may not EVER see the full potential of a car. no matter how much hp it makes. Give it a rest man.

Give what a rest? Heaven forbid someone doesnt agree with whats posted. Why cant the discussion be civil?
If thats the case then noone will ever see the full potential of any combo becuase GOD himself wont drive anyones car.
Thanks for your input

My car has only been down the track 8 times on the motor, the car is setup for spray and looking for mid single digit ETs and 150+ MPH. I run a big tire on the back which is not at all optimal for a 135mph H & C car. The best pass to date was a 10.40 @ 132 in 875' air on a high 1.4x 60'. This was on 28" tires not 26". I have seen a pair of passes high 10.4s @ 135 but didn't leave hard in fear of spitting out more rear parts, the 60's were in the 1.6 range.

I was on et streets 26x11.50x16 on stock 16x8 camaro wheels w/ gto spares as front skinny's.
The car does have a lot still in. It was my first time to the track in over 2 years.
The only weight reduction was slicks and skinny's!
You guys still got to remember this is a stock 3.42 gear w/ stock rearend. I could have launch the **** out of thwe car an went low 1.5x 60ft's. But for the first time out I just wanted to get a feel for the car.

Mark from Cartek went 10.8 @ 125 @ 44x rwhp
Joe from Cartek went 10.69 @ 128 @ 472 rwhp
Brent from Cartek went 10.51 @ 130.8 @ 495whp
And to throw my car in...
10.4 @ 132 was done @ 3455# and 875' DA but don't know the RWHP
Good Luck!

M12 + 3.42 = M6 + 3.90s out of the hole and bigger tires(28s) don't help. Alot of people miss that a Z06 is roughly 200lbs lighter than a coupe and with the better gearing you don't need 3.90 rear to bust some good 60's. Your car in its current configuration will 60' better than my car 28s and 3.90s. You'd have to run a 3.27 rear with some 26" tires to have the final drive as I do.

I was also wondering what you launched the car at? I know the 60s will drop when you get come out the hole harder assuming you are not now.
What rpm are you shifting at? I think I saw Ron say 6000.
Answers to all these questions should help others try to work on their launching and track times as well. That is very impressive 1/8 times and I cannot wait to see how it does in the 1/4.
