Default 98 LS1 + PRC 2.5R + 230/234 + FAST = Spun Rod Barring

Man, I'm bummed! I just got it dyno tuned. It went from 407 to 380 to 350 then POP! It apparently spun a rod barring. The motor only had 38k miles on it!! Sounds like a $5 part, at the bottom of the motor. The tuner said i could have had 420 unlocked and 450 locked which is weird since i'm an A4 but garsh this sucks

parts:

Ported FAST 90/90
PRC 5.3 2.5r heads milled to 62cc
230/234 595/585 114 +2 cam
lt headers / ory pipe
TCI SSF 3500 stall

So is the installer covering the loss then, or did you do the work yourself?

how did it happen? Low oil pressure, or falied oil pump?

That sucks man sorry to hear about it. If there's any way we can help you just yell!

Maybe it's just a reason for a big stroker!
