Heads and cam dyno today

Default Heads and cam dyno today

I got my car dyno tuned today by gomer. He installed gtp stage 2.5 heads, 228,230 cam, ud pulley and I already had my headers. With just my headers I got 334hp,343tq. Today it got 405hp, 392tq. This with ls1 intake and stock tb. I'll be getting the ls6 intake and ported and polished tb next week hopefully. Any guesses on what I will gain with that?

nice...id say 15-20 more HP with the ls6 and the p/p TB, those items are CHOKING you right now!

With just your HEADS you got 334? Or do you mean 'just with headERS'?
Just wondering if its a typo.......

Congrats! I did a dyno day a couple of weeks ago and my numbers were pretty close to yours except my torque was lower. I also learned my A/F was lean at 14.2. I'll be sending my pcm off to get that fixed.

When I dyno'd wit the stock LS6 intake and ported TB, I picked up a solid 17whp over the stock LS1 intake and TB, so you'll definatley see a nice gain.

Good solid return on your investment. How's it feel as you go screaming towards the rev limiter??

I love the way it feels, it is like a totally different car. The only complaint I have is if I go wot, when I go to shift into third it is like hitting a brick wall. I have heard to do the drill mod, do you think it would help?

Try bleeding the clutch first. Could also be the slave cyl. Is it the stock 98-00 one in there?

Nice numbers. The ls6 intake and ported tb will definately help a lot.

CRAN....i'm having the same issue with my clutch go to shift to 3rd at WOT and it messes up like yours. I thin the clutch needs to be bled.

Well I went back to walker dyno in b'ham today and got my final numbers after intake and tb. Put down 418rwhp and 401ft/tq. I was very pleased with the numbers for the money I have spent on the car. We had a great time today. There were 5 of us training down 65 from the huntsville area. There ended up being around 15 ls1 cars there at the dyno.

I was going to try and make it over there today. I heard from a couple of guys that said there were cars lined up all the way around the dyno building.
Was the 402 pewter TA from Cullman there? If so, what did he dyno?
